PhD Programme

iTERM is a center of excellence that aims to integrate multiple disciplines in biomedical sciences, engineering, and clinical medicine, develop novel and enabling technologies, build and maintain an educational infrastructure that attracts the best and brightest into the field. In addition, to facilitate inter-disciplinary collaboration and scientific exchange with different academic departments within the CUHK, iTERM builds up with good connections with both the School of Biomedical Sciences (SBS) and the Department of Biomedical Engineering (BME), which students, who fulfilled the basic admission requirement by the Graduate School, are welcomed and encouraged to enroll in the PhD porgrammes organized and directed by SBS and BME.

School of Biomedical Sciences (SBS)

School of Biomedical Sciences (SBS)

The Division of Biomedical Sciences is one of the largest divisions within the University. Its programme is research oriented with multidisciplinary approaches, with an objective to train and equip postgraduate students with in-depth theoretical knowledge and advanced research skills to allow critical thinking, intellectual development and application of knowledge leading to advancement of research in biomedical sciences with the details and link stated as follow.
