Since the establishment of the Institute in 2016, we exerted our utmost effort in building cross-disciplinary linkages with different academic departments and units on and off the campus, specifically the joint activities co-organized with the Faculty of Engineering in February 2017.
Dr. Hon-fai CHAN from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, U.S.A., and Dr. Shaohua MA from the University of Oxford, United Kingdom, were invited by the Institute for Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine (iTERM) and the Department of Biomedical Engineering (BME), to deliver seminars on “Multiscale Biofabrication Approaches for Tissue Engineering” and “Microfluidics in Engineering Biostructures” respectively on 9 Feb 2017. The seminar was well-attended by our fellow members and students from the Faculties of Medicine and Engineering.
