We are thrilled to share the success of the seminar hosted by our esteemed Principal Investigator, Prof. Anna BLOCKI, on August 10, 2023. The seminar titled “Modulating and Modelling Microenvironments of Diseased Microvasculature” provided an enlightening and engaging session for the audience.

The seminar delved into the platform technology developed by Prof. BLOCKI and her team, which enables the synthesis of cell-derived extracellular matrix (cECM)-based biomaterials. By harnessing the bioactive potential of ECM, these biomaterials exhibit amplified pro-angiogenic properties, surpassing standard cECM and promoting revascularization and healing of skin wounds.

The seminar attracted a diverse audience of students, researchers, and staff members who were eager to learn about the cutting-edge research in modulating diseased microvasculature. Prof. BLOCKI’s presentation not only shed light on the advancements in the field but also emphasized the potential impact of these findings on improving therapeutic approaches for ischemic diseases.

We extend our sincere gratitude to Prof. Anna BLOCKI for sharing her invaluable expertise and delivering a thought-provoking seminar. Her contributions to our Institute’s research endeavors are instrumental in driving progress and advancing our understanding in the field of diseased microvasculature.

Stay tuned for more exciting events and activities as we continue to foster collaboration, innovation, and knowledge exchange within our Institute.
